Issue #2, Page 2: Testing Patience
• Panel 1
• Visual: A messy workshop room. The young dragon is now the size of a large puppy. It is playfully chewing on a bundle of glowing computer wires, sparking wildly and causing a chaotic mess.
• Kid 1 (Panicked): "No, stop! Those are the primary server cables!"
• Panel 2
• Visual: Close-up of another kid pulling back the first kid's hand before they yell, taking a deep, calm breath instead.
• Kid 2: "Wait, don't shout. It's just a baby exploring. We have to be patient."
• Panel 3
• Visual: The kid kneels down to the dragon's eye level, holds out a proper rubber toy, and types into a handheld prompt device: "We don't chew on wires, but you can play with this instead."
• SFX: Click-clack (typing)
• Panel 4
• Visual: The dragon drops the wires, sparks fading. It happily grabs the toy with its jaws, wagging its tail. The kids sigh in relief as a gentle blue light glows around the dragon's horns, signaling a lesson learned.
• Caption: Patience changes everything. A lesson for the dragon, and a reminder for the Guardians.

Map of the Matter is a sophisticated, witty comic set in a busy, recognisably Lagos urban environment, following a fictional Lagos State government project team investigating a proposed access corridor in a major transport district. What initially looks like a simple route quickly becomes a complex spatial problem as a surveyor, lands officer, planning officer, field officer, GIS/eGIS analyst and project manager discover that the map, land records, planning information and conditions on the ground tell different parts of the same story. Through fieldwork, conversations, maps, records and GIS analysis, the team investigates boundaries, existing development, drainage, infrastructure, movement and community impacts, then brings the different pieces together to compare alternative solutions. The comic should feel like a real, entertaining graphic novel rather than an educational pamphlet—dynamic Lagos environments, expressive Nigerian characters, humour, movement, visual investigation, hand-drawn/inked comic artwork, strong colour and technically credible GIS visuals—while naturally showing how spatial information helps government understand a complicated real-world problem and make a more informed decision.

The Crew
Steve (The Boss): 5ft 8 slim build grey short hair always in ripped jeans and a skinny t shirt to show of muslues Steve was old enough to have personally invented the wooden plank. He should have retired during the late bronze age, but if anyone so much as whispered the word steel his ears would twitch and his eyes would light up like a seven-year-old walking into Lego Land. He would stand admiring a steel frame like it was the Mona Lisa.

Kieran (Second-in-Command): 6ft and going bald One day, Steve would hand over the keys to the enterprise, but for now, Kieran manages the chaos with the intense, tactical precision of a Special Forces operative. In reality, his military career consisted of watching Band of Brothers three times, but he carried himself like a lethal weapon. Every day Steve spent waffling about timber, Kieran lost another fifty hair follicles.

Harry (The Wayward One): messy ginger hair and a big beard always wears a hat Harry lived the lifestyle of Mick Jagger on the budget of a man who regularly had his card declined at Greggs. He would arrive on site with scruffy hair, a hangover swagger, and a burning desire to be anywhere else. Harry was always remarkably keen to start work, primarily because it meant he was one step closer to finishing.

Paul (The Quiet One): short bald and where's glasses likes to where hot pants in summer Paul didn't say much. He didn't need to his brain was constantly running black-market logistics. Paul had more business ventures on the go than the Prime Minister, though most of them involved a "five-finger discount." If a tape measure went missing on site, it was already listed on Paul’s Facebook Marketplace.

**Agent de sécurité :** « Tu as besoin d’aide ? »

**Prof d’anglais :** « Miss, why don’t you have your notebook? »

**Esther :** « I don’t have it. »

**Prof d’anglais :** « It’s okay. It’s the first day. »

**Esther :** « Okay. »

* prématernelle
* maternelle
* deuxième année
* troisième année

* première année
* quatrième année
* cinquième année
* sixième année
* secondaire 1, au début de l’année

Title: The Group Chat
Main Concept

A group of Grade 12 friends appears constantly connected through their group chat, sharing jokes, school updates, and everyday conversations. However, the comic reveals the contrast between what they say online and what they are actually experiencing in private.

The story explores how people can be surrounded by communication yet still struggle to express what they genuinely feel. Instead of portraying technology as the enemy, the work focuses on the gap between being connected and being understood.

The central idea is:

Sometimes the person who says “I'm fine” is the person who most needs someone to ask again.

Contemporary Issue

Mental and emotional struggles among students, particularly the difficulty of expressing them in an increasingly digital and academically demanding environment.

This connects strongly to Grade 12 students because academic pressure, expectations about the future, social relationships, and constant online communication can all affect students' emotional well-being.

A whimsical fantasy graphic novel about Flicker, a young phoenix who protects the Eternal Flame, a magical source of life in the natural world.

Flicker is playful, curious, brave, colorful, and slightly clumsy. The Eternal Flame glows warmly inside an ancient mountain sanctuary surrounded by forests. He is helped by Grandfather Shell, who loves pie more than anything, and Tsu, an inventive, curious, sometimes clumsy destructive raccoon.

A mysterious half ash, half wolf guardian named Ashbane wants to possess the Flame so he can preserve his own life forever. He discovers that Flicker carries a small spark connected to the Flame. The Flame begins to fade, causing nature to lose its color and energy.

Flicker discovers his inner strength and transforms into a brilliant giant phoenix of golden fire. He restores the Flame, bringing color and life back to the forest. Ashbane becomes peaceful and disappears into harmless gray ash.

End with Flicker returning as a tiny, cheerful phoenix.

Style: colorful, whimsical, expressive cartoon fantasy, dynamic poses, lush forests, glowing fire, playful humor, dramatic but kid-friendly. Keep scenes simple with one main focal character.

---

🎥 **[Imagen 3: salón limpio, biblioteca, cancha o patio escolar]**

---

🎥 **[Imagen 5: tu dibujo, collage o cartel]**

Comic about warmth, with jokes

Create a cute, colorful Japanese manga scene about an 11-year-old girl named Haifa.

Haifa has long, soft, straight dark brown hair with subtle black tones, reaching the middle of her back. She has warm brown eyes, wheat-colored skin, and a cute youthful face. She is wearing a beautiful cute dress suitable for an 11-year-old girl.

The story begins with Haifa going on a family trip. Her family tells her they are going to stay for two days at a beautiful private house with a swimming pool.

Haifa is very excited about the trip, but she does not know that her family is secretly preparing a birthday surprise for her.

Create 4 manga panels:

Panel 1:
Haifa is traveling with her family in a car. She looks excited and happy while looking through the window at the scenery.

Panel 2:
The family arrives at a beautiful private house with a swimming pool and a lovely outdoor area. Haifa looks at the house with excitement.

Panel 3:
Haifa explores the house happily, while her family secretly exchanges excited smiles behind her because they are hiding the birthday surprise.

Panel 4:
Haifa notices something slightly unusual and looks curious, while her family tries to act normal. Do not reveal the birthday surprise yet.

Style: cute colorful Japanese manga, soft anime appearance, warm colors, expressive facial expressions, clean line art, beautiful backgrounds, joyful family atmosphere, playful and heartwarming mood.

Keep Haifa's appearance consistent in all four panels. She must clearly look 11 years old, not older.

Use short natural dialogue in speech bubbles only when necessary.

When a guarded 38-year-old creative manager and her 28-year-old colleague fall in love, they must navigate office gossip, societal judgment, and the shadows of her abusive past—only to discover that love that's patient, devoted, and unwavering can overcome anything.

A master matchmaker who's never known love must save his 100th couple while questioning whether helping others find happiness is worth sacrificing his own.

The True-Heart Charmer is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind meets The Good Place—a story about what happens when the person who fixes everyone else's heart finally asks: "What about mine?"

Panel 1: The Shadows (False Reality)

• What’s on their screens: A heavily filtered, photoshopped image of an influencer on a perfect beach with the caption "#LivingMyBestLife #Perfection".
• Dialogue / Speech Bubbles:

Panel 2: The Escape (Seeing the Truth)

In the background, you can see the actual influencer from Panel 1 standing awkwardly in the mud, crying because she dropped her ring, while a photographer holds up lights and filters to make it look perfect. The teenager realizes the "perfection" was a total illusion.

• Teen 1 (smiling): "Wow... the internet is completely fake. This real connection feels so much better."
• Required Label:

• Dialogue / Speech Bubbles:
• Teen 1: "You have to come outside! The influencers lie, and real life is amazing!"
• Teen 2: "Get out of my light, you're ruining my algorithm. Let me watch my feed in peace."
• Required Label:
• 🔄 LABEL: RETURN (Trying to share the truth with those still trapped by illusions, only to be rejected)
