Create a complete comic based on the story I provide.

### COMIC STYLE

* High-quality modern comic/manga style
* Clear, expressive characters
* Detailed backgrounds
* Strong facial expressions and body language
* Dynamic camera angles
* Cinematic lighting
* Consistent character designs throughout every panel
* Make the comic visually engaging and easy to understand
* Use speech bubbles for dialogue
* Use sound-effect text when appropriate (e.g. BOOM!, WHOOSH!, CRASH!)
* Keep text inside speech bubbles readable and correctly spelled

### COMIC STRUCTURE

Divide the story into multiple panels.

For every panel, determine:

1. What the characters are doing
2. Character expressions and emotions
3. Camera angle and framing
4. Background/environment
5. Lighting and atmosphere
6. Dialogue or narration
7. Sound effects if appropriate

Make each panel naturally connect to the previous one so the story is easy to follow.

### CHARACTER CONSISTENCY

Once a character is introduced, keep their:

* Face
* Hair
* Clothing
* Colors
* Body proportions
* Accessories
* Personality

consistent throughout the entire comic unless the story specifically changes them.

### DIALOGUE

Write natural dialogue that matches each character's personality.

Do NOT overcrowd speech bubbles. Keep dialogue short and readable.

### STORY PACING

Use:

* Wide panels for important locations or dramatic moments
* Close-ups for emotional reactions
* Dynamic angles for action
* Large panels for major story moments
* Smaller panels for quick actions or jokes

Build the story toward a clear beginning, middle, climax, and ending.

### IMPORTANT

Do not randomly change characters, locations, clothing, or art style between panels.

If something is unclear in my story, make a reasonable creative decision that fits the story rather than stopping.

First, understand the entire story. Then create the comic panel-by-panel.

Map of the Matter is a sophisticated, witty comic set in a busy, recognisably Lagos urban environment, following a fictional Lagos State government project team investigating a proposed access corridor in a major transport district. What initially looks like a simple route quickly becomes a complex spatial problem as a surveyor, lands officer, planning officer, field officer, GIS/eGIS analyst and project manager discover that the map, land records, planning information and conditions on the ground tell different parts of the same story. Through fieldwork, conversations, maps, records and GIS analysis, the team investigates boundaries, existing development, drainage, infrastructure, movement and community impacts, then brings the different pieces together to compare alternative solutions. The comic should feel like a real, entertaining graphic novel rather than an educational pamphlet—dynamic Lagos environments, expressive Nigerian characters, humour, movement, visual investigation, hand-drawn/inked comic artwork, strong colour and technically credible GIS visuals—while naturally showing how spatial information helps government understand a complicated real-world problem and make a more informed decision.

Panel 3: Close on Douglas's eyes. He gets it — not the meaning, just the fact of it. Douglas thinking (thought bubble): "Everyone else heard small talk."

Panel 4: Him looking toward the door the strangers left through. Empty. Douglas thinking (thought bubble): "I heard two conversations."

A whimsical fantasy graphic novel about Flicker, a young phoenix who protects the Eternal Flame, a magical source of life in the natural world.

Flicker is playful, curious, brave, colorful, and slightly clumsy. The Eternal Flame glows warmly inside an ancient mountain sanctuary surrounded by forests. He is helped by Grandfather Shell, who loves pie more than anything, and Tsu, an inventive, curious, sometimes clumsy destructive raccoon.

A mysterious half ash, half wolf guardian named Ashbane wants to possess the Flame so he can preserve his own life forever. He discovers that Flicker carries a small spark connected to the Flame. The Flame begins to fade, causing nature to lose its color and energy.

Flicker discovers his inner strength and transforms into a brilliant giant phoenix of golden fire. He restores the Flame, bringing color and life back to the forest. Ashbane becomes peaceful and disappears into harmless gray ash.

End with Flicker returning as a tiny, cheerful phoenix.

Style: colorful, whimsical, expressive cartoon fantasy, dynamic poses, lush forests, glowing fire, playful humor, dramatic but kid-friendly. Keep scenes simple with one main focal character.

Panel 2: Fragmented memory — his mother at a kitchen table, bills spread out before her, looking down at them with tired, worried eyes. A microwave clock in the background reads 4:04 — inconspicuous background set dressing. Caption: "It cost them everything they were building."

Panel 3: Fragmented memory — his father at a window, staring at nothing, young Douglas (12) in the doorway. Father (speech balloon): "We almost had it, son. We were *this* close."

Panel 4: Present. Douglas takes the key off its hook, holds it tight, breathes. Grounds himself. Caption: "He was twelve. He remembers the sound of a future leaving a house."

The Crew
Steve (The Boss): 5ft 8 slim build grey short hair always in ripped jeans and a skinny t shirt to show of muslues Steve was old enough to have personally invented the wooden plank. He should have retired during the late bronze age, but if anyone so much as whispered the word steel his ears would twitch and his eyes would light up like a seven-year-old walking into Lego Land. He would stand admiring a steel frame like it was the Mona Lisa.

Kieran (Second-in-Command): 6ft and going bald One day, Steve would hand over the keys to the enterprise, but for now, Kieran manages the chaos with the intense, tactical precision of a Special Forces operative. In reality, his military career consisted of watching Band of Brothers three times, but he carried himself like a lethal weapon. Every day Steve spent waffling about timber, Kieran lost another fifty hair follicles.

Harry (The Wayward One): messy ginger hair and a big beard always wears a hat Harry lived the lifestyle of Mick Jagger on the budget of a man who regularly had his card declined at Greggs. He would arrive on site with scruffy hair, a hangover swagger, and a burning desire to be anywhere else. Harry was always remarkably keen to start work, primarily because it meant he was one step closer to finishing.

Paul (The Quiet One): short bald and where's glasses likes to where hot pants in summer Paul didn't say much. He didn't need to his brain was constantly running black-market logistics. Paul had more business ventures on the go than the Prime Minister, though most of them involved a "five-finger discount." If a tape measure went missing on site, it was already listed on Paul’s Facebook Marketplace.

Panel 2: The street, too quiet. A stranger's small talk drifting past, light as nothing: Stranger (off-panel): "...some people have all the luck..."

Panel 3: Douglas in the rain, turning toward the empty edge of the street — toward something that isn't there. Chimney smoke curling upper right — subtle, buried.

Panel 4: Wide. Him alone in the middle of the dead street, rain coming down, the city holding its breath around him. Caption: "Something is wrong with this city. Nobody knows what it is."

Render all speech and caption text exactly as written, with perfect spelling.
THE MONGERING — PAGE 14: DID I IMAGINE THAT? A noir comic page in black-and-white with teal and amber accents, rainy noir cinematic look. Use the uploaded character reference for Douglas — a man with short dark hair and a beard, wearing a dark suit. 4 panels.

Panel 2: A stranger passes, on the phone, not looking at Douglas, voice light. Stranger (phone): "...must be nice..."

Panel 3: Douglas stops cold. Turns. The corner where the stranger went — empty. Too fast, or just gone. Douglas thinking (thought bubble): "Did I imagine that?"

Panel 4: A rain puddle at his feet. His reflection, rain rings spreading. Two ripple rings overlap in a slow, deliberate curl — probably just rain. Nothing else there. Caption: "Nothing there. Just rain. He told himself that three times before he got home."
