Panel 3: Close on Douglas's eyes. He gets it — not the meaning, just the fact of it. Douglas thinking (thought bubble): "Everyone else heard small talk."

Panel 4: Him looking toward the door the strangers left through. Empty. Douglas thinking (thought bubble): "I heard two conversations."

he Lost English Diary
One sunny morning, Gumball and Darwin went to school. Gumball suddenly opened his backpack and shouted, “Oh no! My English diary is missing!”
Darwin looked worried. “We need that diary! All our English words are inside!”
They searched the classroom, the school yard, and even the cafeteria. Suddenly, Darwin saw a blue notebook under a tree.
“Gumball! I found it!” he cried.
Gumball opened the diary and smiled. “Yes! Our words are safe!”
But then Darwin noticed something strange. Page 6 was completely empty!
“Oh no! We forgot to write our new words!” said Darwin.
Gumball took a pencil, and they quickly wrote the words together. They were happy because they had found their diary and learned an important lesson: always check your backpack!
The End.

Create a 6-panel educational cartoon comic strip about the history of evolutionary thought, featuring five historical thinkers: Empedocles, Aristotle, Georges-Louis Buffon, Erasmus Darwin, and Jean-Baptiste Lamarck. Begin with the five thinkers gathering to discuss the question, “How has life on Earth changed over time?” Empedocles explains his belief in the four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. Aristotle shares his work on studying and classifying animals. Buffon discusses the similarities between species and how living things may change over long periods. Erasmus Darwin shares his ideas about common ancestry and changes across generations. Lamarck explains his theory of use and disuse and his belief that acquired traits can be passed to offspring. End with all five thinkers sharing their ideas and recognizing their contributions. Use colorful cartoon illustrations, clear speech bubbles, historical clothing, and simple educational backgrounds.
Title: The Group Chat
Main Concept

A group of Grade 12 friends appears constantly connected through their group chat, sharing jokes, school updates, and everyday conversations. However, the comic reveals the contrast between what they say online and what they are actually experiencing in private.

The story explores how people can be surrounded by communication yet still struggle to express what they genuinely feel. Instead of portraying technology as the enemy, the work focuses on the gap between being connected and being understood.

The central idea is:

Sometimes the person who says “I'm fine” is the person who most needs someone to ask again.

Contemporary Issue

Mental and emotional struggles among students, particularly the difficulty of expressing them in an increasingly digital and academically demanding environment.

This connects strongly to Grade 12 students because academic pressure, expectations about the future, social relationships, and constant online communication can all affect students' emotional well-being.

THE BOY WHO GAVE UP ON HIS DREAM

Once upon a time, there was a boy named João. He was a judoka and lived in the city of Guarujá, Brazil. Every day, he trained hard, hoping to become a world judo champion one day.

One day, his teacher said:

“Good morning, students! Today, I have an announcement. Some of you already know this, but others don’t. The judo championship will take place tomorrow. Everyone can participate. You just need to come here in the morning and bring $70.”

João ran home to tell his parents. After they gave him permission to participate, he went to bed excited and full of hope.

The next morning, the teacher waited for everyone before going to the championship venue. All the students were there, including João.

João’s first match was against someone more experienced than him. However, João was strong and didn’t give up until the very last moment. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough, and he lost the match.

He arrived home feeling sad and said, “I WILL NEVER TRAIN JUDO AGAIN!”

Time passed, and João grew up and became a successful lawyer.

One day, as he was leaving work, he saw a boy wearing a judo uniform with a group of other students. João remembered his childhood and realized everything he had lost by giving up on his dream.

Moral: Never give up on your dreams just because you fail once.

The Four Chicken Shedders
The Crew
Steve (The Boss): Steve was old enough to have personally invented the wooden plank. He should have retired during the late bronze age, but if anyone so much as whispered the word steel his ears would twitch and his eyes would light up like a seven-year-old walking into Lego Land. He would stand admiring a steel frame like it was the Mona Lisa.

Kieran (Second-in-Command): One day, Steve would hand over the keys to the enterprise, but for now, Kieran manages the chaos with the intense, tactical precision of a Special Forces operative. In reality, his military career consisted of watching Band of Brothers three times, but he carried himself like a lethal weapon. Every day Steve spent waffling about timber, Kieran lost another fifty hair follicles.

Harry (The Wayward One): Harry lived the lifestyle of Mick Jagger on the budget of a man who regularly had his card declined at Greggs. He would arrive on site with scruffy hair, a hangover swagger, and a burning desire to be anywhere else. Harry was always remarkably keen to start work, primarily because it meant he was one step closer to finishing.

Paul (The Quiet One): Paul didn't say much. He didn't need to his brain was constantly running black-market logistics. Paul had more business ventures on the go than the Prime Minister, though most of them involved a "five-finger discount." If a tape measure went missing on site, it was already listed on Paul’s Facebook Marketplace.

He would stand admiring a steel frame like it was the Mona Lisa.

Kieran (Second-in-Command): 6ft and going bald One day, Steve would hand over the keys to the enterprise, but for now, Kieran manages the chaos with the intense, tactical precision of a Special Forces operative. In reality, his military career consisted of watching Band of Brothers three times, but he carried himself like a lethal weapon. Every day Steve spent waffling about timber, Kieran lost another fifty hair follicles.

Harry (The Wayward One): messy ginger hair and a big beard always wears a hat Harry lived the lifestyle of Mick Jagger on the budget of a man who regularly had his card declined at Greggs. He would arrive on site with scruffy hair, a hangover swagger, and a burning desire to be anywhere else. Harry was always remarkably keen to start work, primarily because it meant he was one step closer to finishing.

Paul (The Quiet One): short bald and where's glasses likes to where hot pants in summer Paul didn't say much. He didn't need to his brain was constantly running black-market logistics. Paul had more business ventures on the go than the Prime Minister, though most of them involved a "five-finger discount." If a tape measure went missing on site, it was already listed on Paul’s Facebook Marketplace.
